Product Manager

Kitchener, ON - Full-Time


Harled is a small, boutique software development team based in Kitchener, Ontario specializing in Ruby on Rails. Since forming in 2017, we have delivered projects for national defence, Indigenous reconciliation and tooling for high-performance teams. Remuneration & benefits:

  • $80k-95k based on experience
  • 2 weeks of paid vacation

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the overall product roadmap and release plan
  • Define and monitor performance of KPIs
  • Communicate the state of the product, key accomplishments and challenges
  • Balance product workload across delivery teams and organizational priorities
  • Engage with a diverse set of stakeholders to ensure product-market fit
  • Manage the agile product backlog, planning and retrospectives

Experience required:

  • University Degree *
  • Experience managing complex projects in 2 of the last 5 years *
  • Experience successfully managing small teams through the development of operational solutions, ideally in a tech facing role *
  • Outstanding time management, communication and presentation skills

Our dream candidate also has:

  • You have experience with Canada's Department of National Defence
  • You hold a valid Reliability status with the Government of Canada
  • You have worked with figma and wireframing
  • You are familiar with Azure DevOps
  • You can write a little code ;-)

Hours of work:

  • You are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with a bulk of the time during core working hours of 9am to 5pm EST, Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of the role, additional hours and hours outside of core working hours may be required and will be discussed on an as-required basis.
